Enjoy the best corners of Formentera by bus
If you want to visit other special corners of Formentera, such as the fishing port of Es Caló with its small sandbanks (Ses Platgetes) or the tranquility of Migjorn beach, a more familiar and secluded beach (Ca Marí, Es Cupinar), or even Get lost in one of the most hippie and charming corners (Caló des Mort) and other coves, you can do it by taking the Regular Line L2.
From Migjorn to Es Caló
Migjorn beach faces south, so its shallow waters are usually calm and peaceful in summer. Mitjorn beach is divided into zones. The ones we suggest you visit with line 2 are:
- The Es Ca Marí area, with good hotels and hostels, beach clubs such as el Gecko y el South and an excellent sandy beach.
- The Riu La Mola area, with Mitjorn beach known as Es Cupinar, in a wild area of the south coast, an endless sandy area but with restaurants and beach bars where you can have a hamburger or a mojito.
- The little cove of Caló des Mort, which can be reached by walking about 8 minutes from Es Copinar, is a small nudist corner where tranquility, diving and the feeling of adventure are part of a unique experience in an unparalleled corner.
On the other side of the road towards La Mola, we find Es Caló. Es Caló is a small fishing port, bordered by a sandy beach dotted with rocks. The depth of the sea near the coast makes the water have a color that you have never seen in your life. Relaxation and good views will accompany you throughout the day if you choose to spend your day in Es Caló. A couple of restaurants, cafes and a small supermarket will help you take a break from your beach day, if you wish.
